Through our Baton Rouge Empowering Dads Program (BRED), Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana offers effective, comprehensive, pre-release transitional services to young fathers at West and East Baton Rouge Parish jails.

- Access to educational services and community resources, parenting education, family strengthening, marriage/relationship and financial management skills.
Who Should Apply?
BRED services are available to:
- Young fathers, ages 25 years and under, referred by the Capitol Area Regional Reentry Center, mainly from East and West Baton Rouge Parish jails.
- This is a pre-release curriculum for eligible individuals returning to high risk Greater Baton Rouge communities.
