We are committed to transforming lives and communities through program offerings designed to put graduates to work. All of our programs are fee-based and have eligibility requirements. GTC works with students to identify financial resources for their training.

Goodwill Technical College is a licensed certified training center by the Louisiana Board of Regents.

Goodwill Technical College is accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education (COE), a national accrediting agency of higher education institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. The award of accreditation is based on an evaluation to demonstrate that the institution meets not only the standards of quality of the Commission, but also the needs of the students, the community, and employers. The mission of the Council is to assure quality and integrity in career and technical education. COE was created in 1971 as part of the Southern Association of College and Schools and became independent in 1995.
