Goodwill’s technical training and certification programs build soft skills, develop entry-level industry certifications in high demand industries, and help you improve in areas where you may need development. All of the school’s training programs are fee-based and have eligibility requirements. Goodwill works with participants to identify financial resources for their training.

Goodwill Technical College is a certified training center by the Louisiana Board of Regents.

Every attempt is made to assist students with finding financial support for their training. Participants must meet criteria of funding source. Fees paid by agencies can be paid on a monthly basis after service is rendered or in advance of services.

Meet Our Staff:

Rhonda Williams, Adjunct Instructor  
Rhonda Williams is an Accounting Instructor at Goodwill Technical College. She attended Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA. Where she obtained a degree in Business. She is also a professional tax preparer of 20+ years. She has experience teaching higher education course including Accounting, Bookkeeping, Business Communications and Windows. Her many years of preparing career bound students has been a rewarding journey. Helping and watching others grow continues to inspire her to work in higher education.  In addition to having a deep compassion for teaching others, I also enjoy traveling and cooking in my spare time.

Albertha Tobias, Adjunct Instructor  
Albertha Tobias is an experienced educator in the field of Information Technology. She has taught Computer Applications and Programs at Herzing University of Kenner, Louisiana and is currently teaching Introduction to Computer Literature and MS Word at Goodwill Technical College of New Orleans, Louisiana. She is the recipient of an AA degree in Applied Business, a BA degree in Organizational Information Technology, a BS degree in Computer Information Technology with a concentration in Applied Computing and an MPS degree in Computing Technologies from Tulane University of New Orleans. Technology is her passion and she enjoys sharing knowledge by helping to educate those who are seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills.as they prepare to start a new chapter in their lives.

Whitney Cronk, Adjunct Instructor  
Whitney Cronk has been an educator for over a decade. She holds an MFA in English/Creative Writing but has spent the last 8 years in the healthcare industry.  She has many years of experience working in and training healthcare revenue cycle processes, and EMR systems.

Anunka London, Adjunct Instructor  
Ms. Anunka London is a certified teacher with 17 years of teaching experience.  She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and is Nationally Certified by NRF in Customer Service and became a National Proctor for Certification examinations in Customer Service, Louisiana Industry-Based Certification professional (IBC in Customer Service), Financial Literacy Instructor, DECA Advisor, and an ACT Test Administrator/Proctor.

Shawn Pierre, Adjunct Instructor  
Shawn Pierre is Surgical Technologist and education professional with extensive experience in higher education. Teaching healthcare professionals is a passion. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Shawn attended Herzing University and holds an Associates, Bachelors and MBA in Business Management.

Tanya Ralph, School Counselor
Tanya Ralph has over 30 years of experience in the people business where she has worked in travel management, the beauty industry and the social and mental health profession. Tanya was employed by the State of Louisiana as a Social Service Analyst; she was a Forensic Interviewer for Children’s Hospital and a Family Counselor for Boys Town Louisiana.  She is an alumnus of Southern University of New Orleans where she earned a Master’s in Social Work and a Bachelor’s in Public Administration. She has a proven track record of empowering individuals to shift their mindset to reach their maximum potential.

Rhonda Bouie. Adjunct Instructor
Rhonda Bouie-Adjunct Instructor and a New Orleans native, has over 20 years of Human Resources experience. She is a graduate of Tulane University Law School with a Master of Jurisprudence in Human Resources Law. In addition, she received a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).

Dr. George Williams, Adjunct Instructor  
Dr. Williams holds a PhD in Business Management, two master’s degrees: Human Resource Management and Economics, respectively.  He has 15 years’ experience in Corporate America as a College Recruiter, HR Generalist, HR Manager, Director of HR, Director of US Recruitment and Business Analyst.  He has over 9 years’ experience in higher education as an Economics and Business professor. Formerly, he was an Administrator for ITT Technical College, supervising two campuses: Baton Rouge and New Orleans. There, he functioned in the capacity as Academic Dean, Director of Recruitment, and Campus Advisor.   Dr. Williams currently is a Board Member of the Williams Scholar Academy and is an avid supporter of the Goodwill Technical Institute.
