Updated Thursday, September 9 at 12:00PM
Although power and internet has been restored to Goodwill Technical College, all in person classes will move to virtual instruction beginning September 13. Virtual classes will be conducted using Canvas. We know that there are many among us who have sustained damages to our homes and are still without power. To that end, students in the area who do not have access to internet will be permitted on campus to use computers or attend live class sessions (if instructor is present). Please note that some instructors will be working remotely due to being displaced by Hurricane Ida. At this time, we do not have a tentative date for when instruction will be offered exclusively in person. However, an updated academic calendar will be published on our website Friday, September 10 indicating the new start/end dates for both minimesters. If you indicated on the Hurricane Ida Student Check-in survey that you are in need of transportation assistance or clothing, an email or text message will be sent to you on Friday, September 10 with further instructions on when and where you can receive the needed assistance.
