About Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana, Inc.

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization and a member agency of Goodwill Industries International, which has 162 independent affiliate members, with a mission of providing job training, employment placement services and education to people with disabilities and barriers to employment. Each Goodwill organization operates within a geographic territory, with its own board of directors and services specific to the needs of the communities in which they exist. Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana’s territory includes 23 parishes of Southeastern Louisiana, which includes the Greater New Orleans and East Baton Rouge regions, among others. In 2017, Goodwill’s Workforce Development & Mission Services Division served 2,938 individuals and placed 306 people into sustainable employment. Goodwill operates 42 janitorial and grounds maintenance contracts and 22 retail stores in 17 cities—including Baton Rouge, Chalmette, Covington, Denham Springs, Gonzales, Hammond, Harvey, Houma, Kenner, Luling, Mandeville, Metairie, New Orleans, River Ridge, Slidell, Walker and Zachary.
