Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana, in conjunction with New Orleans District B City Councilman Jay Banks and Second Harvest Food Bank, will hold a food pantry drive-thru at its corporate office located at 3400 Tulane Avenue every Wednesday in April and May. Volunteers will be giving out pantry boxes between the hours of 9:00 a.m. till they run out.
“Our mission is to strengthen families and communities,” said Goodwill interim president and CEO Jodee Daroca. “Through these unprecedented times, Goodwill is looking for alternative ways to serve our clients. We are proud to partner with Councilman Banks and Second Harvest.”
Participants will enter the Goodwill parking lot from South Jeff Davis Parkway, drive in front of the building where volunteers will load the pantry boxes into cars and exit onto South Clark Street.
