Goodwill to Open Its 19th Store in Southeastern Louisiana

(February 25, 2016) New Orleans, LA –Goodwill Industries® of Southeastern Louisiana opened a retail store and donation center on the Westbank today in Harvey, at 875 Manhattan Blvd, Westbank Shopping Village.

The new store, Goodwill’s 19th in southeastern Louisiana, features a convenient donation drive thru and a 10,000 square foot retail sales floor, offering customers a large selection of high quality, low cost books, household items, furniture, and clothing for the entire family.  Goodwill also provides home donation pickup service by appointment by calling 504-234-6324. “We are tremendously excited about opening our 19th retail store and donation center,” said William Jessee, president of Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana.  “This new location brings Goodwill to residents of the Westbank in a convenient location off Manhattan Boulevard and the Westbank Expressway.”

Once open, store and donation center hours will be Monday – Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday noon to 6 p.m. Every day, Goodwill accepts donations of gently used clothing, accessories, household items, books, furniture, small appliances, electronics, computers, and computer related equipment.
